Located within the Genesis Christian College campus, Genesis Sport & Aquatics (GSA) is a state-of-the-art facility with world-class coaches. With a focus on participation and improving sporting performance, Genesis Sport & Aquatics is open to both Genesis Christian College students and members of our local community. GSA offers a comprehensive Learn to Swim program with swimming lessons available from four months old. Our swimming lessons are conducted in small groups settings and the children love the opportunity to develop and learn through watching and interacting with their fellow swimming classmates.

We are seeking an experienced Swim School Coordinator to coordinate the daily operations of our exceptional swim program. Accountable to our Head Coach, former Australian Paralympic Team Head Coach, Brendan Keogh, you will be responsible for all facets of daily administration and act as the Program Leader for our Swim School. You will be a qualified Learn to Swim Teacher and ensure consistency, development of and best practice of our LTS teachers. To be successful, you will have:

A passion for swimming, swim teaching and the progression of students
Previous experience working in a similar role
Strong administration experience including managing large volumes of work
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to serve
A commitment to the safety of all clients, staff and WHS policies and procedures
Teacher of Swimming with a minimum of two extension qualifications
Current Blue Card
Current First Aid certificate and CPR
Lifeguard certificate (or able to obtain)
Swimming Pool Plant Operations Certificate (desirable or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to engage with the strong Christian ethos of our College

In addition, the successful candidate will be reliable, professional and have strong leadership skills, including a high level of emotional intelligence. We are looking for an individual who is, or wishes to become, an industry expert. They are not afraid to lead from the water, they can develop great staff and they enjoy being a part of a fantastic team. This role is Full Time, including some weekends.
