1. Go to our Course Workshop Calendar on our website here
  2. Find a course in your area and click on it in the calendar
  3. You will now find all the details regarding the course including the Presenters name and contact details, Start and ending time and location details
  4. Click on the Register now button and complete the registration details including your credit card details
  5. Once payment has been approved you will receive an email (check your Junk Mail) with login details to your new Profile in SWIMDECK (our Learning Management System)
  6. Once logged in you will see your Dashboard and your To-Do List
  7. You must complete all items in your To Do List, specifically the Student Enrolment Form, Student Handbook and all Course Modules before attending your face-to-face workshop
  8. After the workshop the remaining items must be completed before you are able to be assessed and deemed Component/not Competent.

  1. Complete your online theory modules, Student Enrolment Form and Student Handbook all found on your DITA Profile Dashboard in your To-Do-list

  1. Complete your on-the-job training
  2. Complete all other items on your Dita Profile To-do list including your Trainer Evaluation, Course Evaluation, Accumulative Training Record
  3. Submit your documents in your Dita Profile
  4. Once submitted they will automatically be sent to our Assessors
  5. Once deemed competent you will receive your Certificate, Statement of Attainment, SWIM Graduate membership and Complimentary Teacher/Coach insurance (dependent on the course completed) for the 3-year period of your accreditation.
  6. You must keep both your CPR and Working with Children Check up to date for the period of your accreditation for it and your insurance to remain valid.

Yes, we are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver vocational education training (VET) services. We provide quality training and qualifications that are nationally recognised.

You may enrol in a Swim Australia™ Teacher course at 15 years of age.

If you can’t find a course workshop in your area or the date doesn’t meet your needs, you can complete an Expression of Interest by clicking here and we will inform presenters in your area and they will make contact with you directly if they are organising a course in the near future.

The course workshop for our Teacher/Coach courses are usually a day event or they could be scheduled over two half days, depending on the pool and staff availability.

You have 12 months to complete all components of your course but may be accredited sooner should you complete and submit all your course requirements.

Swim Australia™ Teacher courses vary from $285 to $360 depending on varying factors such as pool and room hire and presenter travel expenses.
